The Rattlesnake Preserve consists of 90 acres and features old stone bridges and a concrete well. An easy walk in the woods while slowing at the marsh. There, walkers should watch for logs and stones to walk across if there has been a lot of rain.

Livingston Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy is a non-profit organization dedicated to waterfowl and wetland conservation through research, education, and conservation action. Open to the public May-November and year round by appointment.
Ballyhack Preserve was named for the steep wooded ravine along Baldwin Brook. The Ballyhack contains 200 year old white pine and hemlock trees, including Connecticut's second tallest tree (143 foot, 31 inch diameter).
A field and forest walk along an old farm road, with open fields and picturesque woodland. The parking area: in the Gold's Pine parking lot which is between the Little Guild of St. Francis Animal Shelter and the Cornwall Volunteer Fire Dept.
