Workout facility operated by the Litchfield Hills ROwing Club, offering exercise programs for all ages
Hike up Bloody Mountain to spectacular views of Cornwall Village. Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy at the picnic table at the top of the mountain. An easy ramble through the woods for 15 - 20 minutes with one very short uphill section.
Founded in 1946, this club is dedicated to the sport of hunting and fishing. We provide a safe, family oriented atmosphere where the great heritage and spirit of sportsmanship can be passed from generation to generation.
Open to the public early April through the middle of May.

The 998-acre Steep Rock Preserve offers hiking trails that follow the banks of the Shepaug River and provide access into the above hillsides.
In 1947, Skiing Hall of Fame member, Walt Schoenknecht, created Mohawk Mountain Ski Area amidst the rugged beauty of northwestern Connecticut.
The newly landscaped site features elements of the historic landscape and includes a children’s garden, education pavilion, small orchard, a chestnut grove, a wet meadow, stone walls and traditional fencing.
